Golden Beach, QLD, AU. 7.0 RSSM3, I94 & JP49 Speed. Just enough to get the speed board going. Southerly direction doesnt seem to come in at Golden Pond, very gusty going from 12-13 to 18-20 max, bit disappointing, thought it might have been better. Gear felt well tuned today. Sailed with the HawkSurprised

105 exocet warp slalom Noorth ram 7.8. Had a great sail with Ray from Burrum Heads MOB and Grumpy From Morten Bay MOB The wind direction was perfect for the speed run. A bit more wind would have been good. well done to other team members.

^6.4 Koncept and 95 Naish SP (thanks Cam and Garry for the gear loan) Then changed down to 5.7m Koncept and CA ?? wind was stronger but tide coming in so too choppy for speed.

Good speeds if it was disappointing wind. We had great wind at Queens beach. Was out at 11:30 on 101 FSW and 6.4 Excess for 2.5 hours non stop. Went out again later and should have had a 5.4 and 83ltr.

Good clean wind for winter. No complaints at all.

Just noticed a PB. Good Stuff Rudi. Burrum always seems to get them.

Thanks for the comments folks. Was hard to know what to rig. Most wind was between third and fifth marker. Still enough to take you all the way down past first marker. Was quite easy to point up to fourth marker. Wind gusts easily 18+ Knots. Saturday too much east. We just drifted out to Burrum Point and back.
