Was planning a marathon all week with The Matrix but same sh!t different day dodgy wind!!!

But had a babysitter sorted so on the water for 1000 instead of 0800, went for the 6.3 Ram and the Falcon 80 didn't want to be to powered up hmmm got that right only done about 13 nm's in the first hourFrown.

Anyway it finally picked up with grey skies and rain, gets a bit lonely doing distance on your own but there was no way i was gonna give up i set my target and was gonna get there then it happened bloody wind droppedYell.

But plenty more to come i think next time will be a little different.Laughing

If I had one could probably have used something bigger than a 6.4 but was good for gybe practice. At least better than Steve's 5.7!

Not to sure how big the tank is Ian but still gonna take something to top you and El Normski mate. I think what you 2 done is incredible seeing that in ph its difficult to get nm runs with speed so to put a big distance in takes a lot of gybes for arguments sake 200 km is over 200 gybes now that is very physically tiring and mental torture.

Great going Swagger.Cool Distance is very hard to plan as the conditions need to remain good for so long (as well as body holding together). Just makes it even more impressive that people have done 300,400,500kms in a daySurprised

Nice distance there Swagger!

Don't know about mental torture, every gybe I think "Hmmm now I could have done that just a bit better" and have another go at it next time round.  Then you can play the mental conversion game where you try to figure out how many k's you've done from the nautical miles on the screen.  Keeps me amused anyway Laughing

Limiting factor for me is the lower back, as you bend over at the start of the gybe eventually it starts to say "Oy that's enough".

The problems i got was an old hip injury from a motorbike accident from 4 years ago never had any reflection at work etc, just started to ache a lot after a couple of hours.

And of course working out how far i'm going on each run how long you have to sail for at a certain speed blah blah blah......

Next time i will make sure some of the crew are their otherwise cat and nine tails will be coming out...
