Interesting day at smellville. Got there to see it nice and windy, but a patch of rain came over and the wind went really gusty after that. Did one run out and back on the nude streaker 54 and got my fastest 2 runs. Then changed to the Mistral 110 with KA37sl. Stayed on the 7.0m E3 proto since it was powerful enough to be planing most of the time- especially downwind past the sand bar. Had some nice powered up squirts there.

Went to Hardies with Recycle - wind didn't do what was forecast.

Rigged 7.5 Koncept 09, 111 iSonic 10 proto with 35 Curtis weed. Weed was prolific!! Was lightish and gusty when we rigged but booted in and settled as soon as the cloud moved off [which was a few minutes after we launched]. We had intentions of an hour. Struggled with the solid wind on the 7.5 [too big] and the fin [too small] so I settled for a few speed runs. John was smokin on the hour. Sorry for the lack of back up mate!

hey mate, hows the ribs holding up? You getting any sleep? Busted ribs  are no fun at all. Impossible to get comfortable to sleep. Cant lift anything, laugh, cough (sneeze!!!). Nasty. Hope they mend soon. Not so sure about France- especially with kath looking over my shoulder :)

hey Jake, I'm evaluating these boards at the moment, and so far they are working pretty well. Their main strength is going into the gybes- you can throw it in as hard as you like. Good top end too, and comfortable through chop at speed.

Cool, they look pretty nice. How do you rate them upwind against say the iso of equivalent volume?
