DETAILS: Great day with great wind. Wooz from RPS joined us for a day sailing and the Inlet and Huey provided!!
The SW kicked in this morning and stayed the whole day. High tide early meant a bit of chop but as soon as the tide started to go out the strip fired up. Decided to go for the 5.9 as the lulls seemed light and the gusts were managable. Great long runs in flat water.
As the tide went out a few sections become a bit sketchy as they were extremely shallow. Had a massive off where I hit the bottom then rotated around the sail. Cmae up in shin deep water!
After a brief lull the wind turned more West and the strip started to get choppy. There were still slingshot runs to be had but they were getting shorter and shorter. Changed down to a 32 cm fin just to be sure.
Awesome day sailing with a great crew!
