Elwood, VIC, AU, SSW around 25knots, early Sunday session with Jman, KGB (with his new Manta) and Lyle. Started with the 6.2 Hellcat and the Rocket and was well powered up, got a little windier after a while, should have gone smaller but hung onto it until the Hellcat broke in the shorebreak, bugger.Cry Took the 5.7 Saber and felt great until it picked up even further. Huge ramps and massive chop building, so decided to come in to prevent further damage, was knackered too. Will take the Hellcat to Irwin for some makeover, it had a rough time lately. The panels had to be fixed anyway from previous mishaps.

Fastest 2sec on the last run in. Wonder how the guys in Inverloch went!

Tabou Rocket 105, Torquay 32cm FreeRide fin, NP 5.7 Saber.

Inverloch, VIC, AU

Starboard Kode86 (wood) & 6m Ezzy Freeride

Good day at Inverloch dodging sandbars and other windsurfers. Few of the Bonno Blasters there also, Stephen & Adam. Short runs while I was there as it was just too shallow at the bottom half end of the strip for my 26cm fin. Ended up concentrating on my gybes more so than speed. Reasonably solid 18-20 knots from the SW.

Rigged to big today and was on a time limit so didnt bother to change down, not really good conditions for going fast with some big ramps and chop.

Cheers guys.

Jerry - New X9 felt really nice. Big improvement over the hybrid. Am very happy with it!

Sounds like Elwood was pretty full on. I'm glad I decided on the trip to Inverloch. Busy but still ok.

Well done on the pb Windrider! Any good video?

Great Alpha PBs guys! Did you sail the outer channel? May be should have gone to Inverloch as I first thought, would have saved me the sail repair for sure.

We were in the inside. I spent most of the time teaching guys. I was on my freestyle kit to make it easier for me to stop and teach when on the water. My alpha was during a demonstration on how to carve gybe around a marker.

We had great turn out and the weather was very good. Plenty of wind.

I've still got to check out the vid.
