Melville Beach, WA, AU

Gusty 20-25 knots. 4.7 Tushy Storm, 85L Sonic, 32 Vector

A fun sail. Good to be overpowered for once. That 5m sail would have been interesting, Mark!

Interesting to note that I equalled my 1 hour PB that I set on my last outing... rather different conditions...

Afternoon at Cheese Graters Perth Chapter.

Good to meet wog from the Southsiders and catch up with Hardpole. Ado paid a quick visit having sailed up from Claremont! Which he said had been a bit tricky.Surprised

Wind looked good and fastest run was 2nd of the day. All down hill from there.Cry

Wind was like winter swinging all over the shop and in the smallest bullets i think I have sailed here. 0-25knots in 5m!

When hardpole arrived switched to the sonic and honestly tried lots of alphas, Snake.Embarassed Gusts were just too brief, sorry for the poor back up. Next time I Princess about just tell me to HTFU and come sailing with you.Yell

Great days sailing down at Safety Bay with some of the Mobsters, Sammy and Tomski. Still on the hunt for that 25 alpha! The wind started to build and 5.4 was about right most of the time, although not fully juiced on the strip most runs. We were all giving the alphas grief today Tongue out and it paid off for Tomski who scored a nice pb. Big congrats mate!!! Cool Had a few runs of the strip with sam who was trying the sp40 out (and smoking on it!!) Cheers for showing me how it's done today Sammy, good fun. Had a few good laughs watching Sam try to gybe the 40 in the swells outside the pond Wink

Glad to finally nail the alpha I'd been chasing for a while now, Wooohooo!

Point Walter, had a good swim and a bit of fitness training in amongst extremely gusty and weird sea breeze, KA 5.8 and Sonic.

Apart from the long wait to waterstart it was all good.
