Dec 2022 - Newby to speedsailing though windsurfed on and off since 1991 when learnt on a cold lake while working in the UK and then spent a few years chasing winter storms on hire gear.
Came back to Perth in early summer 94 and realised I'd come back to windsurfing nirvanna!
Spent the decade of the naughties with my gear locked in the shed but rekindled the love and have resisted the lure of kiting etc to stick with boarding and still enjoy it.
Started logging speeds last summer to set personal goals but ready to move ahead to see how I could maybe crack 40kn one day.
Looking forward to the new challenge.
