Did the family trip to Inverlock today got to the surf beach about 10.30am low tide no surf and windy.
shot around to the inlet windy as and rigged up the 5.7m (smallest i had)
went out with another guy who had rigged up a 5.0m both sailed up the channel to the venus bay side had a couple of run's and the wind died.
By the time we got back there was about 15 guys on the water but to late.
Kid's sailed on starboard Go 170 with 5m kids rig and had a ball.

1st day back at work today so good to knock off early for a sail, when I got to Ewood most of the guys were on 5.0's but a few were coming in to change up so rigged the 5.8 and whent out on the tabou. The wind was super consistant and evertime I thought it was backing off it came back. Decided to have a few runs upwind for a change today too.
Really happy with the 3s not fast but nice and loose for the bay.

4859 days ago 2 categories   Hampton, VIC, AU, Great day with Seb at Hampton. Picked up a preloved Ka 6.6 Koncept from 'Red' in the morning and was keen to give it a go. Arrived back at home aorund 1pm when the wind kicked in. Wind was perfect, too much for the V8 and too little for the Hellcat, just what I bought the sail for. Great sail, pulls like a train and quite forgiving in gusts. Started on the XciteRide while it was fairly smooth to get used to it (mid 23's then), when the chop was building changed to the Tabou which was going much better for speed, had one great run bearing away right down the barrel between two waves. Went for distance in the end and changed back to the barge when the wind was easing around 5:30pm.

4859 days ago Good session with JAK and Rick in the arvo at Hampton, but never really powered up (should have put up the 7.0). Twisted my ankle in a stuffed up jibe  , but only slightly swollen so can't be too bad. Moved on to building sand castles with the little one.
