Got woken up by the dogs this morning being way to perky at 0520 this morning charging around the house, got up wind had backed of from last night, got a text from Steve so toddled of to Novara.

Steve was optimisically going out with his 84 Iso, saw him go the dogit then go then dogit didn't look all that flash but thought it couldn't be any worse than attempting to chug yesterday.

Out there it wasn't to bad, sure it was light, and I had to pump like a little fat mad red fecker to get the board going but once going it was alright.

Just over an hour out there, definately feel the better for it

Arrived before 6 plenty of wind so text to Alby. 7.8RSS and Iso 86. Got going and will be fine with the 31 weedy I had fitted but not enough wind so went to Iso 105 then F2SXL

Bonus sail, forecast looks poor until next weekend

Walpole, WA, AU 25-35knt SE'er

CASL52, RSR Evo1 6.7m then RSR 5.0m, 28Choco FireBlade

Totally insane sail at Walpole. It didn't look that strong so i started on the 6.7m. I headed out and the half way accross the inlet where upwind the river mouth is the wind was so strong it was crazy. Came in and rigged the 5.0m (never used it in WA yet). Headed back out and was fully lit on the small sail. I's a shame is was really swelly/choppy (waist high) because with wind that strong 40knts wouls have been easy. Oh well it was great to sail in those conditions as they dont come around very often.
