Quick sail at Wello in a SE. Was getting really powered up by the end. Good fun Racing Vando.

Falcon 133, Ram 8.5, tallon48.

Too much board, too much fin and at times too much sail! Was getting up to speed and just hitting a brick wall. At one point I almost broke through heading downhill with a couple of gusts but almost got pulled over the front. Will be ready for them next time.

Good sail though with Phil at the train.

Wello, Falcon 111, Nash Stealth 7.6, 39cm fin. What a pleasant surprise! I only went down, because it was the last day of my holidays and when I got down there, everything was full except for the boat trailer parks, where police were doling out tickets for unsuspecting parkers. I drove around for some time before I got a park and then the wind started to turn on. I rigged up in a hurry swearing at all the people that were hindering my pleasure trip and had an hour or more of planing and gybing. I could have stayed longer but my stamina is not much to talk about after such a long lay off with no wind, though it has been getting better over the holidays. The wind seemed to be best after I got out of the water, but never mind. I am happy !!!Smile Nice to see Vando on the water again. I tried to race with him but he always ended half a lap a head after one lap, even with his broken foot.

A wonderful thing happened today, the sun shone and the wind played ball.

Wello, CA75, 8.5 loft Switch Blade and maui 48 cm fin combination was very good and easy to dial in. could have used 7.5 later in the session but no way was i going in to change down.

Stoked, last day before going back to work.

Marginal conditons at the train but lucky a storm front was building out West and breeze slowly built up. Overpowered on a few gusts and packed with boats but not a bad sail for most of the time.

CASL62, RSSlalom 7.8, Tect 38.
