When I got there it looked a solid breeze so rigged the 6.4 and got a bit concerned when Jacques came in told me he was struggling on his 6.4. Though Id give it a go with a 24 cm fin and started off doing ok then wind shifted into another gear and was becoming a real struggle just to stay upright. Came in and swapped down to a 5m and headed out again into the growing breeze..
Couldnt find my way around the weed beds as the strong wind was pushing the weed into big clumps.. shame .. jacques got some great speeds earlier. Spent the rest of the day trying various areas around the lake trying to fin some flat water.. not much luck..

Pretty solid breeze today, speed was done on the 6.4, and weight jacket, and alpha was done on the 5.8. Managed to get a few runs behind the weed before it all got blown around, It blew that hard we were watching the weed get blown to shore, the whole lake turned pretty rough today, but nice solid wind.
