Lake Connewarre.

The recent floods have flushed the lake and the water is still the colour of milo but the weed beds have gone. This give a bit more scope on where we can sail and today decided to go for a 1 hour (more for the thought of keeping out of the dirty water!) Spent a fair portion of te one hour trying to hold my ground upwind as the lake is notorious for shifting direction. But had some great powered up sailing and the PB is very welcome. After having a quick break went up over the sandbars which are normally too shallow to sail over but with the high water level gave some great smooth sailing. Had to pack up early as I had family committments but sounds like I times it right anyway...

Well done Red. Sorry I wasn't there to back it up for you. I week and a bit and I'll be OK to sail any time.
