Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU exocet rs2 5.8 north ram. Not the best sail ive had. Late getting started. not ideal conditions for slalom gear. Broke the batten just above the boom so came in early. Helga must have cracked last time she used the sail. Still its always good to be out on the water with a few of the team.

105 exocet 6.3 north ram -I was totally out of  control on this combo ( I think I had a death wish), changed to naish vector 95L 6.3 north ram. Wind really kicked in late in the afternoon naish vector 5.4 north ram. I don't remember breaking a batten!!

Good to catch up with Ian  Bill I hope the rib is ok

Fun at GB with half the team. Could'nt get comfy on the SP50 in the chop I'm afraid.

Great days sailing with the rest of the viking horde. Wish I could have pushed past 27 kts but just too overpowered I guess (and lacking skill too)

Golden Beach, QLD, AU. GB W54/7.0 RSSM4/29. Again both banks not working. Good to see the Haggar & Knut.

Today Ulf and I had a plan to do 200km.  Got on the water at 10am with the 5.7m Koncept and JP84/26fin.  Sailed for 2 hours got my 2sec peak and NM in this time.  Came in for lunch heaps of other sailors had arrived and were rigging smaller.  Decided to go out on my 5.3 Koyote as was getting to the limit on the 5.7, went for the 1 hour after lunch and that paid off, was the best 1 hour I have done for over a year.Was really hard going though getting airborne a few times over the ever increasing large chop.  Saw I had done 56nm on the odometer and was hoping it would have been higher.  Went back out and did a few runs and saw that I had 92nm on the display, i thought that last 40nms went fast but then thought if it was 92 I would have a chance for 200km sailed until I saw 110nm on the display.  

Got home and processed file and it was only 145.  What the??????????? doh???????????? I have had the gps for 3 years and didnt realise until today that there is an odometer and also a trip odometer.  I think i need to work out how to lock the buttons so it doesnt change the display .  Bit disappointed as I got off the water at 4pm and could have just done another 10km for a PB.  Anyway always next time.  My body is feeling like  I have done 200km plus.  Such hard work in the chop.

Well done on the PB's Ragnar, Vindr and Hawk.  Was a great team effort today. 

Next time Bill we will both have to do 200!

Golden Beach, QLD, AU 86 isonic 5.8 rsracing 33 select. also used 6.2 rs slalom mk3 . best sail ever here for a long time good wind but choppy/ good to sail with glen and shawn .90% time spend on 5.8 it just couldn,t go wrong today.
