Snides (28038km): Pelican Point, WA, AU very short sail as i had the kids with me.. well its been a long time coming but today i crashed...the last time i stacked it in straight line sailing was the 23rd of nov 2006 (2 ribs) i guess the law of averages caught up wth me.
decided the wind looked too good to waste even tho i had the tinlids in tow. tried to park at peli but the carpark was overflowing so we went and parked at the secret spot (mosquitoville!!!!) and sailed the bottom half of peli point. the tide was high which allowed the river traffic wash to totally flow over the shallows creating lots of trip hazards....one of which was my undoing.(looking at the track from 2006 i was aprox 50meters away from my last crash!) the wind looked fantastic.. enough to warrant rigging the 5.5..(after cleaning out the cobwebs!). i plugged it into the manta 54 and delta 25 and managed to get a few runs under the belt before the stack. the stack claimed the boom head with a cracked mast cup (x6 2011). wiind 18-22kn happy to see a 35 on the dial in confused water...its been a shocking 12 months for winds above 20kn there prob will be 40's recorded today as is supect the usual crew will swarm around 2 second city aka pt walturd

Recycle (17196km): Point Walter with a few crew waiting for the big wind which did come for about 30 mins the same 30 mins ado and I did the ferry chase . iso86 rsr6.7 f1 34 then the magic weedy
25 (14457km): Quick blast at Melville with two kids home alone!! 111 iSonic proto, 75 Koncept, 40 talon. Participated in an interesting rescue effort with Annie, a guy on a big Starboard race board and a couple of others! All good windsurf community stuff.

JC (5181km): Pelican Point, WA, AU Well its been a while, 7 weeks at least since a decent sail - the sailing stamina was almost non existent so a short session.... Great to be out in some decent wind albeit PP was its usual rough self on a Saturday afternoon - heading back into the beach was fun tho. CR6.5 IS86 and Vector 32
Slowboat (49232km): Safety bay in a seabreeze for the first time in years and had a great session. 6.2m EIII all day. Started with the Nude 57/91 slalom board with a 27cm weed fin, and was having a ball on that. Was hitting regular 40s as the wind picked up but I could feel some drag getting worse. When I checked the fin the filler coat was chipping off around the base so it was really rough. Went in for a drink and grabbed the Nude 46 with KA23 fin. Whoaaa the wind picked up a couple of pegs I think, and the setup was totally smoking considering I wanted MMMOOOOARRRR WIIIIND. Damn that was fun. Did 16 runs over 40 with a max of 43 on one run. Kept sailing until I got hammy cramps and it was getting dark. The wind picked up on sunset so who knows how fast it could have been... Thanks daz for the beer at the end... best beer all summer.
Chris Adamson (14466km): Rigged the 6.3 for the conditions we wanted, rather than the conditions we got, but nevertheless good fun out there at Pt Walter with Recycle, Claude, Craig and a few others. The ferry chase was the highlight for me.
Stringer (7685km): Hardies, W.A. AU SE 10-13knts then SW18-22knts KA Koncept 2011 9.5, CT490, Fanatic Falcon 134, 42.5 LE Elmo weed 35deg; then North Warp 2011 7.0, Fanatic Falcon 111, 36 LE Weed 45deg; then Fanativ Falcon 85 for two runs. 5th best distance for me, now all my top 5 are over the tonne. 4th best alpha for me, done on the firswt of two runs at the end on the 85 flacon before i had to boot off to a BBQ. The hr was on the 111 and would have better if i didn run a ground on the far end in the last two minutes of the hour! would have loved to stay longer as the wind was belting through and there was definately some speed worthy opportunities! so with the limited time i ahd after the hour i put some of hardies alpha tips into practise and they seemed to pay off, just need more time and the same conditions now.. sadly that might not be until november becuase i cant see it repeating lke that anytime soon, bsides im off to cabo verde, and morocco in search of waves.
THANKS DECREPIT FOR LENDING ME YOU CAR CHARGER, I HOPE YOU GOT IT BACK, I PUT IT UNDER YOUR WINDSCREEN WIPERS AS I HAD TO GO... TIME GOT AWAY FROM ME. without the charge i proabbaly wouldnt have got my PB 1hr, so thanks mate :)
EDIT: LOOKS LIKE I BLEW MY BOLT TOO EARLY...
