Great day with the crew today, got there about 11.30 to find the pit crew already racking up the k's.

I messed around a bit at the start with sails but settled in with the 6.2 and Supersport. We were having a lot of trouble with weed which seemed clear late in the day.

Packed up when I could no longer feel my feet and they had a blue tinge! As usual finnished the day with a meal and a couple of beers at the Fishy pub. Smile

Tabou rocket air 95ltr, severne gator 6.5m

Good arvo at SP with the blasters. First run couldn't get moving… …thought I must've left my fin cover on! Nup, it was a massive clump of seaweed. Happened about 3 more times in the next four runs, so I changed to a more swept fin.

Also tooled around adding a second back strap, adjusting size for booties etc. Eventually got set up properly for the conditions.

It was the first true test for the elbow following the surgery and it held up pretty well, although I was a bit tentative during and sore afterwards.

Just when we thought we all new everything about windsurfing, KGB taught us a valuable tip today….

…..if you can't jibe, sail in to the beach, get off, pretend to clean your fin, turn board around, and sail back….  ….repeat at other end.Wink

Good time at the pub again, great day.

Sandy Point, Vic, AU, great session with the team, finally a decent sail. Started with 6.6 Ka Koncept and the Rocket, 2 hours in swapped over to Stephen's Futura 93 and loved it straight away. Had a couple of runs above 30 when one of the upper battens broke. Wasn't going to go smaller, so went back with the 7.5 V8 on the Rocket which was quite a handful at times, but had some nice runs again until it was time to go.

Tabou Rocket 105, 34cm Tabou fin, Ka Koncept 6.6, then NP V8 7.5

Sailed with Urs at Bonno. Wind up and down. A bit underpowered most of the time, but still was good fun.

you're amazing KGB.

To be so fast in a straight line that you can stop get off, clean your fin, turn board around, get back on and still get a 17.6 alpha.

Hat's off to you!

Congratulations on the PBs guys! Good to see you all yesterday. Glad to hear the arm is working fine Peter - sorry I didn't get to say "hi" other than passing each other on the water - I was on a bit of a mission yesterday.
