Goostaff (2301km): Out for Ollies Stag do till 2am last night and we were drinking these daft drinks and acting like idiots in nightclubs, so I felt a little fragile today. Also had to start at 8am. Anyway it rained all night and all morning so rigging up was not much fun, the low pressure going through today was full of fronts also so the wind was patchy but some of the gusts lasted for a little while. The 7m felt really good today and this spot is really going to be great on its day, again today the wind was a little light and the tide despite being a neap came in a little quick. Still sailing has kind of cured the hangover especially when I returned home and my lovely wife has made me a tasty lunch<span style=
Swagger (5821km): Met The Matrix and watched the water for a while well quite a while! Way to broad and very windy no good for speed really (well could have done it but a walk back up the beach in typical british summer rain). Got cold and went home decided it wasn't gonna swing so had a couple of beers ready for the Grand Prix. Then looked out the window wind swung and the boys were all going well! So decided to go out but a couple of beers and windsurfing don't really hook up! Speed was crap gybes were crap but surprised to get a 20 plus Alpha. Nice to see some good friends on the water together and no traffic. All in all good fun.......

Simon Harris (434km): Good to get out after such a long time! Forecasts were a little variable and wasn't sure if it would fill in enough to take the drive to southend so had some time at hayling on the sea front. Tried to nip downwind between the waves as it was blowing south south east and managed a 30. something peak on the wave kit which was a surprise. The software 2 second average seams to have rounded dead on 30. Congrats on passing your distance milestone Lea. An amazing achievement!
Jim Crossley (5677km): After waiting all day for the wind to swing it was a bit disapointing when it dropped at the same time! Still a great fun sail with mates and breifly got to try my Falcon 51. A real peach...can't wait to get it out in some proper wind. Its going to be a good Portland harbour board, and it jibes nice! Best speeds on the Falcon 85 today...more of a slalom blast really.

Ian Richards (18353km): Late evening sail on the tide in Langstone Harbour, wind died lucky to get back. |
