Great fun today the smell of spring is in the air. Bright sunshine easterly breeze - neither of those are what you would attribute with a Melbourne winter. Big crew on the water too. Kato, Drift, Pete, Old Salty, Kurt, James, Richie, Evan, Ash, Moondo returned from a 6 mth hiatus and yours truly.
Low tide was early so best runs came then, couldnt find a good board/fin combination, will have to keep experimenting.

Area 45 did not disappoint with a good turn up Kato, Mick, Dan, Evan, Richie, Ash, Pete, James and Kurt and great to see Simmo out on the water!!!!!
The only thing I needed to do was to remember where the mud flats and sand bars where. First run - Mud flats Last run Sand bar 3 " water at 20 kts. A bit sore and a tear in my favourite sail.

DETAILS: Beautiful sunny day with a fair size crew out. Had family stuff to do in the morning and by the time I got there I reckon I missed the best part of the day. Wind was patchy and there was not a lot of flat water. Hit some bizarre cross-chop on one of the return runs and did a 360' catapult.
Wind started to back off so i came in and did a fw runs accross the lumy stuff.
Good to see Moondo back out amongst it.
On the way out I noticed Pete's car was dirty so I cleaned it for him by flying through the puddle on the side of the road.
