Mark Hayford (6908km): Another very gusty and square day, pretty frustrating most of the time as 90% of the time I felt under powered on the 5.7m, maybe I need to start going 1 size bigger as I felt under powered on the last few sessions. BUT, I did manage to improve my PR slightly. Shame I could not catch just one more decent gust to have moved up to 39k average. First half done on the W49, last half done on the W44, both gave similar speeds. Tectonic Nomads working very well for me. Good enough day, was fun:) | ||||||||||||||||||
Mark Bailey (471km): Another after work session. Peak of 33.2 knots on run 1, adjust my harness lines a bit, run 2 feels more settled with a peak of 36.1 knots, it's starting to feel like tonight could be good when it goes and dies off and leaves me struggling to even get on the plane ! Stick it out for another hour or so but it never really switches back on and I spend the time trying to make best use of what there is but competely underpowered. Good turnout and put some new faces to names from some of the guys from down south. |
