Around mid-day wind was quite off at Manor then came x-shoreish for a while and had nice sail with 8.5m/135l with Mark S on Phantom and Mark skimming on his Hypersonic. Swung well off later and was too windy for 8.5m. Lovely warm afternoon and nice to get a sail in.

It was a great day for everyone at Brog. The sun was out and the wind was blowing!

After the fun at West Kirby on Thursday, I wondered whether I could carry any of my new found speed onto the slalom kit. Pairing up the 7.0m and 60cm / 92L seemed like the best plan for the day and I got quite a few decent runs during my 2 hour session.

I think that my 33.82 peak (32.30 for 10s) is about as fast as I've gone in choppy conditions with a 7.0m. The main thing slowing me down was the big hole in the wind when half way across the lake! Things are looking good for the next slalom event in Weymouth. :)

Almost a repeat of Friday.  Started off looking very marginal and started off planing only 50% of the time but at about 3pm it really kicked in and would have been happy on 6.7 and 90l board.  As there was an optimist open meeting going on I headed up the arm above the moorings to keep out of their way.  When the racing finished I headed back to the club to do some speed runs in front of the clubhouse but unfortunately the run-in was to choppy to get any good speeds although it felt fast at the time....
