Quick blast at Leighton with Craig & Darryl.

Was windier than expected so was fully juiced on 7.0. Decided it didn't look quite enough fun to offset the risks of sailing out to the massive gas platform thing. Maybe tomorrow.

Manta 59, Warp 7.0 Talon 34 / Vector 32

May post some gopro of Craif and Darryl later

Cruisey hour attempt at Peel Inlet - six 7.5 km beam reaches in and out from the boat ramp.

Used the brand new 2012 Koncept 6.6 and RRD Xfire V2 112, 38 talon - had a bit much fin for the 6.6. The sail is a winner - lots of pull with great balance and noticable low end grunt and glide through the lulls!

Feeling well worn now! but will have a more focussed attempt tomorrow if the forecast holds.

did the beaver today... loads of kiters (I counted 40 at one point). Was windy when we got there but backed off a peg by the time we rigged. Used the 2012 Mistral 91 slalom board and 6.2m. Smokin setup! Just wanted a bit mooooooar. Matt got some good runs in and we introduced Terry to the beaver.

Pelican Point, WA, AU

only 2nd river sail since march probably, so sailing fitness is lacking. PP was awash with yachts, boats, noxious weed and very lumpy wind chop. Good fun but, had some very fun, well powered up runs on the 7.

IS 86 Reflex 7m, Tectonics Talon 32

Good session at leighton beach with tom R and then with darryl and ado.

Wind was a bit patchy but some good fun. Sailed up to the oil rig a few times, rough and fun.
