Pelican Point, WA, AU  Iso111, Od6.5, Dk40/ 34weedy.

Have to get over the habit of packing the car with the big gear. Way too much board today struggled to keep it on the water. Could have done with smaller fin, weedy made it a little more controlable but still a handful. Stopped at heathcote to catch up with family at the playground.

The chop on the water was unbelievable, so rough and boats everwhere so hard to find flat water. Made some nice planing gybes which was tough with chop.Smile.  Sail size was right on fully powered, now just need flat water.

Worn out by time boats left so chat with boys and home, happy.

Good session. I started a little bit too optimistic with the iSo94/OD6.5, but it was't windy enough for that combo. As soon as I supersized it felt much better. I worked on my gybes, and I am happy to see it paid of with an alpha PB Smile.

There was also some damage today: when I rolled up my sail I noticed a 40cm tear in the top panel of my sail. But worse than that is very painfull bruised toe that will keep me off the water for the next few daysFrown.

First sail on the new I-Sonic 80 and very pleased to say it is as easy to sail as last years. It planes up very early for such a low volume board. Stuck at work till 5.30pm so missed the best of the afternoon although I heard it was very messy with all the usuall Saturday boat traffic going on!

Not a flat piece of water for mile and when all the yatchs went home all the stink boats appeared

If I knew it was going to be that rough I would of bought my dirty clothes with me

Sounds like a summer saturday Raygun. But if the chance is there you gotta go and play the russion roulette. Cool speeds and your 20kn alpha is with in reach. Your doing some miles mate and wont be long till your 2 sec pbs over take little old me! Pt Walter might be a good option next time it is showboat saturday ! ( good for a 2 sec ! )

Nice one brabo congrats on the pbs, you were flying out there, looked rock solid, and a 20kn alphaSmile. Know exactly how your toes feeling mine still purple but makes you concentrate when moving into the straps.

Obi - did play a bit of chicken out there. Thought yesterday could have been the day for an alpha pb, but was just struggling a bit to get settled again after the gybe. Next time we go out it's gybe practice for us. gotta get you in tip top shape for LOC.

Body feeling bashed this morning, took a hammering in chop.

Yep, my toe is also purple now and I will definitely have to concentrate getting in the straps for a while. It looks like another nice seabreeze today, but I'll have to give it miss.
