A mentor day with the IWC. Early start to take advantage of the good wind before the club day started, wind was 15-18 and ran the new 6.6 but the wind disappeared very quickly and was on the 7.5 with a 34 fin. Great day for the beginners but tough for the advanced to learn carve jybes where they struggled to plane. Lots of smiles and fun had by all, i just became a big kid as usual Laughing

Tough day today, had trouble getting comfortable. Some of the gusts were nuclear but too west to be on strip, so it was a matter of survival. Four decent catapults knocked the stuffing out of me and the confidence. Tried my speedboard later on but struggled big time on it, Issac and Dudley well and truly kicked my arse today, well done to them both expect to see more PB's from him I imagine. Quickest speed on

Fun day at Inverloch helping out with a teaching day. Fantastic to see so many out having fun on the water - probably about 40 sailors in all. Big congratulations to the Inverloch Windsurfing Club for organising and pulling off another terrific event!

We arrived earlyish to get in a sail before the days events began but I was a bit slow hitting the water so missed the best of the wind. Rigged a 7.5m Koncept as it was dropping fast. Had some scary moments flying over very shallow water with a 34cm fin - felt it catch a couple of times but thankfully no katapaults. This sail was fine for about 40 mins until the wind dropped too much, but by then it was time to do some teaching.
