Melville Beach, WA, AU

Isonic 115, NP RX1 7.1,  finworks 380, lessacher duoweed 28, choco fireblade 36

Very up and down session with lots of holes, boat chop and quite a few crew. Water was warm and not very refreshing but not a bad day over all.

Used my only free time for the week so i'm sure tomorrow will be great.

At least i got to try my new Lessacher duo weed. Impressive. Hangs on well even when i tried to push it to spin out. Goes up wind quite well too. Better than the Finworks today. Didn't quite have the same speed as the choco FB 36 which i expected.

Diablo had his new KA 7.5 up (drool) but he wouldn't share. Amazing the difference in shape from my year 2000 to a 2009 shape. Looks so much more powerful. I think some of his numbers will back that up. Wink

Enjoyable.

Rigged up thinking there might just be enough wind

Well, I had a ball!!!! wind enough to get planning almost all the time and tide was high, so could get up to the flats even with big fin. Nice smooth water

Foot feels 90%.....still wearing 1 booty as when cut gets wet it might split again. So at least 3 full weeks recovery. Watch those fins boys it really stuffed up my sailing this January.

A good days sail (despite some frustration with it not filling in a bit more). Great to catch up with Baldy, although we didn't spend too much time sailing together as one or the other would head in to swap fins. Lucky enough to catch a good gust for the 2sec pb. KA Koncept felt great but still working on finding best settings (e.g. harness lines, fins, outhaul, footstraps)

Brabo was following on the NM run which was crazy through the chop but thats a 2nd best NM.Smile

Ah boys over at smelville again. NIce speeds though.

Good to see you back out Slappa. I can assure you have been extra careful of fins since your mishap.

Yeah, didn't feel like it at the time, but sailed pretty solid for about 3hrs or so. Happy with the pb as don't look at my gps till I get home, always a nice surprise

Looks like we may have a new member to the team.

Welcome Stuthepirate.

If your new to the game, or just looking to improve, I'm sure we can help you with that as we have plenty of regular sailors to chase around on either side of the river. Mostly Pelican point or melville waters, and some who make regular trips to safety bay. With a good blend of young and older, new and experienced team members, with 1 goal in mind. To improve and have fun doing it.

Look forward to seeing you out soon Stuart. Any problems Email me.  tobyleah@optusnet.com.au

Welcome aboard Stu. I mostly sail at Melville (dark green Pajero) - come up and say g'day if you're over that way.

a new recuit - fast he bee!

Great numbers guys- very jealous. I spent the arvo at City beach watching kitesurfers and my daughters 13th birthday party.

I must have some bad mojo this season - my fortune cookie says so "no wind, no waves"

Hmm, looks like my wifes been around your place too obi! Tongue out

Welcome aboard stuTP.

Well done Raygun. Looks like you had a good session overall. That's a good hour jump for you.

We'll catch up sooner or later.

Way too much gear changing/tuning for me to get any consistancy. No sailing for me for over aweek (even if the wind cooperates).
