finally some wind to try out some new stuff ..

Thanks to chris for letting me borrow his old RS Racing 5.8 which is pretty much patched up and im surprised how good it worked today but will do some tunning on it to get it right how i want it...

The iso speed just killed everything what got put infront of me amaizing board!!!

The sonntag proto fin worked a treat in the messy chop today it really held its ground when you really needed it ..

Now im really on edge to get the new EVO IV i reakon it would have given me a couple of good 40s today and who knows maybe more.......

Good to see the mob out today and giving it a go , but the wind was still really gusty to get powered up so you had to be on the right spot at the right time and unfortunatly it was just about every 10th run so alot of hard work...

But still pretty stoked with the times but i reakon with the new sail it will give that bit more hmmmmm..

quick run after work. all the guys were already down, no doubt doing some rippping speeds as the wind was honking.

Had really lightened up by the time i hit the water, but that wont stop me from hitting PB's, cause thats just how I roll.

Got there about 2.30 and as yesterday it was 20-30knots then it dropped to about 3! What have I done to deserve this? Waited till 4 and it came in. Had the 7m  rigged and 95 L board and was just enough, did a lot of dredging for a while and had a pod of about 20 dolphins swim through with the babies jumping clear out of the water, pretty cool. Pretty good sail, got out quite late so no real guts in the wind but still fun.

Plenty of wind out there! Sailed mostly on the larger CA and got out the speed board too late as the wind backed off fairly quickly.

Sweet sail at Wello today. Got to have a go on my speed board. Couldn't get any gybes to stick today. Every time I went off the wind there was no power in it, then when I was coming back in the gusts were coming in strong, with a train of Pierre, Vando, Brad and Glynn going really quick on them. Tried hard for a good 5 X 10 and would be happier with a 34 something.

Should have used the sail that I leant to Pierre, I got it from Windsurfing Perth in the cheap bin for $200. I thought that all the repairs and holes in it would have wrecked it but I guess not. Any way was happy with the way my gear went.

ISO 53, Ref II 7.0, Naish Sl 28. I need a fin for this board!!!

Wellington Point, QLD, AU. Daytona 5.4, Skade 90 L and a 26cm Maui fin. Should have rigged a bigger sail and a bigger board. The wind died on me too often, but it was a good tryal for the little board and I managed to sail it this time. I even managed to gybe it in the end, though most of them were german gybes. I'll do better next time

Finally got on the water and had a great sail with the nob. Was working on gybes and suprised myself in that chop.

My speed not up there because I was half out of control bouncing over the chop.

Well done shaneo , and i luv the way you roll!!

Yeah Jemo i had alot of the time underdone on the 5.8 and some gusts that i caught would have been good to be on the 6.2 + , that sail would have been the beez neez for me today!!!
