WSP Drags my forst sail at Novara. Was a little slow to start but wind finally dribbled in at 3.30. Quickly rigged up as i was on a tight time frame by this point. Had some good runs out to the ob deck, 6 in all. Just missed the rock posts on way in as they were hard to see.

Only used this sail about 5 times since new.

Taped the hands up and being a short day, survived ok.

Look forward to a day down there with decent wind.

Good fun. Good to hook up with Diablo for a change and a few others i put names to faces. Pity ray gun couldn't make it, but you didn't really miss much.

Good day at the WSP drags in Mandurah. Late seabreeze had me thinking it may not happen at all but it eventually kicked in with enough wind to get a solid hours sailing. Nothing too fantastic with the speeds attained (and one big crab bite that told me I shouldn't have tried for that last run). A great way to finish the weekend - a nice sail and catching up with a few of the crew that were there. Thanks to Pepe and Lao Shi for guidance on hazards to avoid.

Pelican Point, The usual combo. please huey give me something differentCry

Had to opt out of mandurah drag as stuff came up at home, so got down to PP for a while with wind for 10 minutes then none for 30.

HO HUM. Think it was retro day at the river judging by all the old school gear littered around the grass.Cool

Brabo out to try his luck too, Good to see you mate.

I could have spent this day in better ways today. Just slogging around doesn't cut it for me. The wind gods granted me one gust after building up some good karma by salvaging an abandoned rig of  a rental board with a snapped tendon.

You are right ray gun, I was also amazed about the amount of retro gear out there today Surprised

It was looking touch and go for a while there Ray Gun. Good to see you got a sail (although only 10 minutes sailing could have been more trouble than it was worth).

well done ao being alpha man Diablo and close to all top speeds too. Cool

No post from col. Wonder if he got out?

That 8.1 is a b!tch to gybe, really have to pop the cams, quite a violent switch of sides.

Looks like our drive paid off in the end evenif it wasn't quite up to expectations.

Next time ray gun.

How do i get an hour jelly bean when it's 0.0?

Thanks Ray Gun, I was happy with the results but even more so with the cruisy sail. We were just lucky enough to get what was the lowest limit to get a decent sail on my combo.

Shame we didn't catch up because I was gonna ask about the cat sailing. Been thinking about taking my girls out on the cats and get them interested in sailing.

The kids absolutely loved it D. took them out for an hour and they sat at the front with feet in the water watching for jellyfish and any thing else they could see.Soaked to the skin, in the end they got a bit too cold so came in but a great intro to sailing and the river. will be taking them back again. Quite a few kids out with parents actually..
