Holy Sh!tballs that was fun!! My poor old shock absorbers were shot after a couple of hours - bad cramping from defensive sailing stance. Got a 30 on the dial but skunked again. One day I'll get a 30 knot 2sec peak in a southerly. One day...
I rode the first gust of the front, but it was choppy already from the westerly before the front.

Early trip up the F3, waited for the change to come through & it did big time. But went SE, not a great direction. Dropped quick but still had a few good squirts. Weed is the worst Ive seen it, just like liquid lantana. Started off with the Falcon 99, struggled as the weed was just like an epoxy magnet. Knee was pretty twingey, bugger.
Switched to JP 68, more float, much better. Had some short slingshot runs with Mick & used him as a target for the peak bear away, sorry mate.

2 runs on the Carbon Art wind no consistent enough, I did nt want to swim all day.
Plenty of nice runs, a little tight on the speed run.

Quick little avo session, very on and off wind! Great to be out twice in two days! So nice only having to travel for 3.5 mins to get to the rigging spot!
Busted a camber heading out and could not be bothered coming in to change it.

wind was better earlier moving towards the east & getting lighter could have used a bigger sail, good to be out first time in 3 weeks.

4610 days ago Launched from St Georges Sailing Club in a decent 20-25kt Southerly. First real time out on the SP60. Made good upwind angle to the speedbank in a few runs and was just getting the hang of it for gybing. Had a quick session as the wind looked like it was dying. I headed back as I didnt want to swim home. Cant wait for more southerlys.. Really liked the way the SP60 handled.
