4611 days ago Really like the Exocet RS2 with the Black Project 32cm Type S. Didnt spin out once, and had some hairy runs out over the chop. Pleased with how close my peak and 10s are together, along with 6 alphas over 20knots.....think I have only done 3 over 20 before in total!!!

4611 days ago iSonic 87 mostly fitted with Casper Speed 29cm and C3 26cm and the Tushingham 5.8m X15. Also tried a couple of runs with the 64lts W49 speed board but it wasn't enough.

4611 days ago Early start should have gone quicker. Struggled with fitness and strength, But nice to have some wind C3 fin sticks like shit to a blanket when powered up good fun all in all. Fair play to The Matrix on the hour and going back out with El Reg..........

Jim Crossley (5677km):
4610 days ago It was 6.3 weather so had a board choice problem as I don't have a small slalom board at the mo. 51Speed or 113???...would have been on 79or99 if it had arrived.Â
Tried the 51speed but whatever anybody tells you about speedboards in chop it isn't fast and its not clever...more dangerous! Don't listen to Fred Hayward about that feeling of pure joy...I think he was getting confused with something else.
Changed to 113 and the new select 35 V-max... The board was big for the conditions but was intersted in the board fin combo.. It gave a lot of lift for a 35 and felt fast. Not for the faint hearted. These new falcons can take a smaller fin than most slalom boards as they ride much higher than last years, so I think it would have been better with a 33!...but I did't have one....Taking a new fin/board out of its comfort zone was problably quite a good way to learn about it...anyway interesting to try although will probably never use the 113/6.3 combo when the new boards arrive.

4610 days ago Wrong fin choice, and could'nt be bothered to change as water soon disappeared!
Nice to have some wind again

Goostaff (2301km):
4610 days ago Good sail.
The wind was patchy and fairly light, angle was perfect on the short course, but insufficient wind, whilst it was square on the long course with a large hole halfway down. Another 10 knots of wind and it would have been excellent...but i always say that.... Jonny vapor also looked very pleased with himself today with his flashy new rigs. Anyway pleased to have a sail and after driving home cold and exhausted my lovely wife had cooked me a great hot dinner... result

4610 days ago Gusty day in Langstone Harbour, started on the Falcon 111/ Vmax 37 and the hour was going ok till I got flattened by a big gust, changed to the Falcon 80 with the Select Crossfire 31, first time on this fin and I was very impressed, seems to fly upwind and very slippy off the wind , great for getting lots of runs in.
