Cold and bumpy....best 500m this year!  Pleased with that.  Early runs were on the Fanatic Speedboard..but the wind was too gusty to keep the momentum going, so switched to Fanatic 80.

Langstone Harbour.... nothing was working here today, spent 90% of my time in the water and 10% on it, still things improved later on as the wind went south west and tried a few mille runs and got pb for this spot. would of had a 30+ nm if I had judged the distance better... Crossfire 31 is the mutts nuts in the Falcon 80 with 6.5/7.0 :)

That was horrible, first run upwind to get anywhere near flat water I really struggled with the 6m, harness lines far to far forward, dropped in to adjust them once upwind a bit and spat out a load of blood, thought nothing of it as I am getting used to this warfarin now, and it happens occasionally. 10 minutes later and I was still spitting it out though so came off the water, stopped shortly after but I feel a bit wobbly now......please can we have the nice warm winds back from the south west!

An interesting day testing different boards and fins.  Started on the F99 with Select 35V-max and then tested it against the C3 sting2 34.  Then Changed to JP54 speed(OTC) with 29Casper. Finished the day on the Falcon51 speed with 27 casper.

I've said it before but I'll say it again...the new Norths are much fuller and more powerful. It has a different feel, much more responsive to gusts when on a run, turning it into accelaration.  This is improving my peek speeds on last years sails...without loosing any control!

Haven't sailed Portland harbour for a long time so it was interesting to see how the kit and my sailing had changed over a year.  It is a good benchmark going to Portland.  I think they are spot PB's for me so that is pleasing on what wasn't the best conditions....Even if i'm not as fast as some of the locals!

Portland now has the 'Official Test Centre' which is a great place to go to try kit...sometimes its interesting just to see what the other brands are doing.
