4549 days ago Washoe Lake finaly had some steady wind, 1 hour came out even better than I thought. Now it's time to work on my jibes and maybe if I'll make at least 5 out of 10 without falling instead of 1 I'll have a chance to improve it.

4549 days ago Didn't think it would be windy today. Denis called and said; lets go and try for one hour. Ok, didn't have anything better to do anyway. Arrived at Washoe Lake around 5:00pm. Wind looked really good across the lake and I was immediately fired up for one hour PB attempt. Rigged 7.8 just to make sure I can keep on plane all the time. Looking back, 7.0 would have been better choice as I was overpowered most of the time. No crazy stuff, no speed runs, no alpha or nautical mile attempts, just kept it steady at 25-30 knot speeds. Result: 24.18 knots one hour average. PB and American all time best. Mission accomplished!
Also nice to have feeling that this is not even close to what can be done if conditions are perfect and gear is matched to conditions.
