voltmeter (4616km): Fun little mission and some practise for Alacati. good stuff!
Niek Looze (4241km): nice day, good people and sun!
Serge Beumer (6317km): This day started of with drizzle and almost no wind. After the rain stopped the wind slowly picked up, so went out with Monster 72 and 7.0 Loft racing Blade and after the wind picked up further I changed to the new Monster 60 (230x60x85L). This is a sweet board that has a huge range but the sweetspot lies around 6.3-5.5 sails. I tried various of the mXr UFO wide base fins and they are all fast but all models clearly have a different character for different sailing styles/board-sail combi's/conditions. Today the UFO Wide 40 26cm was fastest in the chop we had downwind, which is great as it is designed to give even more control for difficult water conditions, whilst still lifting the board high on the water. It feels truly different compared to the UFO Wide 30 26. It is really nice to be able to choose various wide base fins that all have their own character to suit various conditions. |
