Wanted to do some distance today got down the beach at 0715 and 5 degrees! Bloody winter! Got one good run for speed, tried the hour footstrap popped out towards the end but hey thats life i suppose?

Great effort by the bus on the hour nice to see the effort!

We need more people pushing like this, nice to be able to sail for longer these days........

Good alpha Scotty! Get your hand close to the mast as you flip the rig, then the rig doesnt swing round as much as it flips! Everything else loks good......remember to do that next time!!!!

I need to stop trying hours and nmi's at the same time......the upwind really ruins the average over the 2 runs....properly experimented with it today to see how it averaged out. Next time will leave the nmi for the final run. Wasnt much wind to gybe in at either end today, didnt know whether to make the runs shorter and come out of the gybes faster or keep the speed up over longer runs with bogging at either end......went for the long runs option
