Primbee, NSW, AU    BIG WEDNESDAY, no hiding place on the lake today. Posted early before the big numbers come in.

Very tireing for a pensioner, left early for Lawn Bowls and Bingo.

thats what half RDO's are for!! but it wasn't supposed to be that windy

got there 'late' - the boys were coming off the water saying too windy so had to go straight to my 5.4 Alpha wave sail (oppurtunity knocks - need to rectify that) and had a great sail but couldn't crack 37 (yesterdays peak) - thought it was dropping off a bit so rigged up the 6.6 H2R (yesterdays hero) but disaster - the wind hadn't dropped at all, and it was all i could do to have the sail of shame back in. Capt'n Glenn took pity on me and i had 20min on his 5.6 Severne which made a difference. tried to cap it off with a last session on the wave sail but too knackered

got some pb's!!! happy with the nM and alpha (tribute the the wave sail!?)

looking forward to see Glenn's results - should be good

great to meet and sail with some new friends

Primbee, NSW, AU Honking westerly in December - gotta like that!Cool Peak wind speed at Albion Park of 49 knots - yeah I thought it was windy, too windy for me at times (need a 5m sail).

Great to catch up with Leo, Keef & Phil. Leo was motoring, until a mega off - I hope you are OK brother.

Great fun sailing all day and good team attendance (does anyone work on a windy day?) Mike was hammering on the IS80 - you just need a proper 5.6mWink.

For the last session of the day I swapped to the MU Delta speed 15, but this proved to be a bit of a disaster - just not enough grip, and ended up with pretty good stack - span out and dipped a rail : 34 knots to 0 knots in 1 second. Unfortunately the boom didn't survive. Thank goodness for the helmetSmile.

Mike, nice session! that's an epic nm and alpha! sounds like you need a ~6m speed sail though. I should've come for a sail, I spent most the day lazing at work because the wind blew a power pole down and so we had no power.

Yeah Keef - OK, except for a sore hand. I think I was very lucky not to hurt myself badly, and not break mast/sail/board.

I don't think I will be using the 15 again, but I might keep it to use as a core for a bushfire creationLaughing
