Kyeemagh 15-25 NE

iSonic 90, KA Koncept 5.8,  32cm Goldwing

I had decided to just muck around today, so I rigged for comfort, not for speed. Troy and I had a great time over at Kurnell early on in the building seabreeze. The wind is so much more consistent than up at Kyeemagh.

Merry Christmas to all GPSTC'ers have a great day tomorrow Smile

Short and Sweet sail at Kyeemagh, NSW, AU.

25-30kts with a killer gust and then nothin'

91L Exocett RS2, 32cm Nitro fin and Maui 5.5m sail, which was perfect until it wasn't! But then I needed about 9.0.

Didn't even manage an hour!

10km total.

Good to see so many regulars out there such as Ric, MT, Remi, George etc. And a few newbies on wave sails !

Enough people have been dropping hints, so i carried a GPS today.  Fifth sail since breaking my collar bone, so nothing special speed wise.

7.2 RS Slalom

2012 StarBoard iSonic 117w  VMG Blades 46 cm Slalom fin

2013 StarBoard iSonic 87 Tectonics 34 cm Goldwing

I think I hit 32 knots on both boards.

Very late get out due Xmas stuff. Seano and Chris out having some drags, big thunderhead out west looked like it was killing it. Some decent gusts coming through but super gusty. By the time Al and I got up the top it was OK but slowly dying, bugger. had a couple of fun runs/drags ( just well powered ) with Seano down into the swamp corner but just not enough wind to get any decent gybes in. Bloody choppy upwind!!

Then it really started to die so pegged it and wobbled in. Nice to get wet but wish I hadve been out 2 hours earlier. Still, sweet to get a quick sail on Xmas eve. New Falcon felt so much better with a decent pointer, loving it!!! All the best to everyone and a windy 2013.

Falcon 112, RSR Evo IV 7.0, Talon 36.

PAtrik 115 Slalom, 38 Jp slalom fin, 7.8 Mk 4 Slalom.

Got down there about 11 and rigged big as it was a little light - around 12 it started kicking in  so headed for the runaway and found some really nice flat water. had an absolute blast -  had to wind up early around 2 pm and go to work just as i was starting to get really dialed in :(

Had some really nice runs along the full length of the runway but started to run out of puff about 2/3 way down  even on the 7.8.

It's good to have you posting Mr Ting!

Berowne, I was rigging at 11 (hence the 5.8) on the water at 11:15 and planing by 11:45. It was a very slow first half hour, but worth the slog over to Kurnell.

Not bad Chris, your first posting in 5 and a bit years Tongue out

Happy Xmas guys, I hope you all get some great pressies and I look forward to seeing you all out on the water over the break.

Oh and Larko, if you think the clouds started to get a bit thunderous in the arvo, you shouldv'e seen and heard them on the golf course today where I was. We got a mini cyclone and rained out after 15 holes.

Merry Christmas to all. If your undecided, make the effort to go to church tomorrow, and remember the reason for the season! Berowne.
