Amazing, my best christmas present! Went out to try and break 37 knots...I didn't know if I could do this...Could believe it when I looked at the GPS 39.56!!!  Smashed my peek speed and spot record by 3 knots at this spot and the average speed by 1 knot.  I don't know how much of this was down to the new sails because I was just thinking about the chop infront of me...but to go 3 knots faster in a place I have sailed hundreds of times before they must be doing something right.

Its something I have been talking about for a long time...making the warps a bit softer so they still have acceleration when you are already flying off the wind at speed...they still have more to give when a gust hits.

Looks like 40knots is possilbe on open Christchurch harbour water without a flat water speed strip.

My knees hurt so much i can't walk properly, my back is fucked and most importly my right arm is that bad i can't hold a pint of beer! think i may have to stop this shit, building houses may have a benefit but i have come to realise a nice pen pushing job as such makes it easier on life and body.

So on this note i will not be about on here anymore i am retiring from posting and just going to sail for me now, have a great christmas and a happy new year.
