Started off light but as I was rigging it kicked in I was going to change down but decided to go out & hang on what a good decision as it dropped off so it was gr8 for the 7.8

JP68 Loft7.8 Select37 

Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. Finally a good solid 15-20 SE, looked a bit up & down when jeff & I got there at 2pm, rigged 7.8 loft, 108 JP, 37cm select, got a 2km run in out & back,wind dropped out to 5knts as usual. Stood there for 20 mins, gave up & walked back to car, wind picked up again to 10-15,went back out on JP130, guess what, 20knts +, hang on for grim death, got some runs in but 7mtr on 108 or 96 would have been comfy. Bit choppy in middle but flat at each end,jeff had 6.3 on today 

Wellington Point, QLD, AU, Falcon 111, Warp 6.8 and Viper 34cm. I should have taken a hint and rigged the 7.5. Broke the rod in the whinch, when I was downhauliing; this Warp is too stiff; Then I broke the boom again, when I came down to the water, lucky I was not out on the reef yet. And they had promised us 20 to 25 knots and gave us 16 at the most. Glyn could you talk to Ken and see if this board is still for sale for 200 dollars. I have got aproval for it for my birthday present

Sailed Isonic 94, Avati 6.9 & Nitro 34cm fin. OK in the gusts but underpowered the rest..

But a great way to finish the week...
