Primbee, NSW, AU. SSW up to 25 knots or so in the gusts. Quite gusty and certainly not as strong as forecastedFrown

Started with the 5.1, probably thinking that it was going to increase, but alas this didn't happen. Ths sail felt good but mostly underdone. I broke a reflex batten (not really sure how that happened, but it is an easy fix) so I derigged and put up the 5.6. This sail has a different feel and much more suited to the conditions. The MXR fin felt rock solid, and certainly gives confidence over the chop.

Great to be out with Terry, Nudist, Ken, Dasha, Mark D. The fastest spot was behind the pier where the flatest water was, but the wind was quite flukey hereCry. All in all it was a good day, but quite hard work.

SB W49, SV R4 5.1, 5.6, MXR UFO Weed 20cm

Primbee, NSW, AU     No place to hide on the lake today. Rain, wind, chop and cold, a new wetsuit helped.

Did a few runs to the Island, running the swells with the small gear.

Extra points for Mark and I for bringing in that pontoon, lucky it did not sink.

Tabou 85l rocket air      Loft 4.7 lip       Did anyone see Tex?

Good one team  Would have loved to have joined you but on caretaking duties with a sick family.  Looked pretty choppy, even behind the jetty when I drove past.  Credit to all who partook!!!

Hi Gary, Yep - the MXR's are great! I think if there was more weed they might not have enough rake, but make hay while the sun shinesSmile

nudist - oh noSurprised

Good work Terry & nudist for getting that stray pontoon out of the way.

Where was TEX?
