4502 days ago  Maiden voyage for my new stick RRD X-Fire 98. Brought it to the Egg Island Slick in a WSW blowing in the mid to low twenties (mph). The wind was square to the sand spit, but provided some decent runs and a few "hero" jibes. Fun time with Peter, NIna and several party boats... :-)

4502 days ago Great day at Kalmus! WSW thermals kicked in big time - forecast called for 15 mph, we got 25 for most of the day. Started with B&J on 3S 96 with Matrix 5.5, switched to XFire 90 for another great Egg Island adventure with Dean & Nina, finished the day with some more B&J on the 3S. Some of the jumps were about as high as I ever went.
The 21.29 is a alpha PB - the 21.47 from January 31 was an analysis mistake (70 m radius). My sail was a bit small for top speed, and the chop inside Lewis Bay was small and easy, so I went for 1 hour. Lewis Bay in winds like today definitely has distance potential, even though the runs are just 1.5 km long.

Nina (10682km):
4502 days ago Freestyle session at Egg Island with Dean & Peter. Skate 110, Manic 4.5, Naia 16. Nice and flat, but a bit too much power with the 4.5 for freestyle.
