4485 days ago Crazy wind at Kalmus, 15-40 mph, gusty & up and down. Chop also seemed much worse than yesterday. Went early, had to wait for the gate to open at 9:20. Wanted to go for distance, but ended the first jibe with a full speed fall onto my back, just like a catapult. Glad the neck did not snap, but it hurt all day with every bump - and bumps we had a lot in typical Kalmus vood chop, even at low tide.
Put a GPS on Martin, who is an absolute animal. He did 20 km more than I did, but while I was just fighting for control and trying to jibe dry, he was jumping and doing tricks on almost every turn. He was going back out for some more when I left.
