Lovely Sunday afternoon sail in sunshine although wind was very on off.  Love this combo when powered up too (albeit not that often today).

Great day sailing with Ed,Kel and Bindi. Wind was not as strong as I had expected but water was reasonably flat and warm

compared to Tinaroo. Was trying to get a good hour but not sure !!

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Well, not the sort of day I was expecting. Hit the beach mid morning and it was cranking. Thought I was going to be way over powered on the new HSM GPS 7.3. So, decided to give it a couple of notches more of down haul, kept the out haul neutral and decided to brave a whole new world. Bit tentative at first, didnt relish spearing through a panel on my first outing. Need to work on the fine tuning, but over all, it can certainly rip the skin of a baked custard, no question asked...wow. Old 6.2 Revolution vs HSM GPS 7.3 - I think we have found a winner. Just need some consistent wind. Todays conditions were typical of the beach, patchy, loose and at times, skunking. Decided to call it a day early. Well done Freddy Burke on your PB mate - makes to trip worthwhile. Well done to all over the weekend.

Nice little squirt around the island, beautiful sunny day but fairly light most of the day with a few 20knt puffs, great fun blasting around the Ed, Freddy, Toody and Bindi.

The whales even turned up today and where putting on a show at one stage, sailed out to have a look but they bolted before i got there.
