Finally got the new board wet. In a nice steady 15 knots with the odd gust to about 18. was great fun and love this board it's like a hovercraft, sits so flat on the water. Very happy with the speed for a first up run with no tuning done just plugged the sail in and went.

Troutty and Steve out to enjoy the sunshine and wind too.

Arrived at 8 to see snides half rigged and scratching his noggen talked him into small sail big board. sounded great until we hit the wet stuff and after half an hour of dogging came back in to rig big (10 metre) but as my luck would have it as soon as I tweeked the final downhaul 16 - 18 out of nowhere  so a bit more head scratching dragging out half the van ended back where I started

Snides returned with a sligh grin and Mr Gun appeared so offered him my 2 cent which failed dismally not more than 1 hour before and deceided to give it one more shot before packing up, heading home and kicking something.

Finally some luck 1 and a half hours of 15 - 18 kts  funky chop but woo hoo

Smile on the dial for the rest of the day

Its amazing the looks you get from passer bys when you have a grin from ear to ear mowing the lawns
