4110 days ago Primbee, NSW, AU WNW to W 0 - 35 knots : some good bullets! Weedy but some good flat water behind the weed clumps.
Started off early but the wind was really patchy - not what was forecast. Had to sail out in the chop to steer clear of the weed. Some good gusts but eventually drifted back home. Used the break to rig the 5.6m sail and set up the speed board. The wind seemed to kick in so went out with the speed kit and found it quite hard, particularly trying to avoid the weed clumps. Changed fins and felt a bit better. The top speed was a case of hitting a good gust in the right patch of water and closing my eyes when sailing over the clumps .
Got over 35 knts 2 sec on the JP - happy with that. The old girl is going great but just about going to retire her... .
Great to see Rick on the lake and an awesome team turnout .
