Coomba Bay, NSW, AU

Good fun day with planty of runs over the weed bank. Was out one the Tabou Rocket 105 and the 6.5 Naish no cam slalom. Broke my mast base but thanks to Pete who lended me one of his.

Coomba Bay, NSW, AU

Great day. Me and Anton windsurfed through a pod of dolphins. Interupted by having to rescue Anton's board. Towing a board was an interesting task. Pete suplied the replacement mast base. Thanks.

Trial Bay, NSW, AU Windy, windy windy!  I forgot what a good nor-easter is all about. Yesterday rigged way too small with a 6.2. Today rigged too big with a 5.7. Solid 20 knots plus nor-east, over-powered most off the time, airborn the rest...lol  Highlights, made some mad jumps, well over head high and 15 ft across. Pulled off 6 planing gybes around swells, plus bath warm and sunny as. Low-lights- not skilled enough to relly enjoy the epic conditions...  But deifntly sailing better than have in such conditions in the past. No great speed, more just trying to survive...lol  Sailing pics of a mate after I got out.

Sailing Club, Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

I was a bit dubious about the forecast this morning thinking the wind would be gone and blown out overnite. After a brief shower or two of rain it cleared to a beautiful sunny day. Perfect in fact.Cool

Got out early with Pete, Aza and Chris. Bill and Anton were out already from the other side blasting about. Northerly then swinging NNE-NE at about 15-25k.Some nice bullets coming thru, albeit gusty and very shallow and a bit weedy over on the weed bank.

Had four sessions today.Started with SL104 and 34BP weedy, Gaastra 6.5 GTX then thought I'd try my luck with the SL79 and 27 Vector Weedspeed.Had a ball out there as I think most of the guys did. A bit scary over the very shallow weed bank and bailed out of the spot eventually and went elsewhere for a few runs. By the last session the wind was done and so was I.

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU. A very gusty wind from the north, but some lovely runs on a 6m Gaastra and 102 Falcon. A bit shallow on the weed bank, and it dropped off on the second session. Sore muscles and a big smile!

Town Green, Port Macquarie, NSW, AU,

Had a quick sail at town green,. Wind 15-20kts for the first 20 mins then dropped to 5kts, almost had to swim back.

Sailed with Jim, and trendsetter.

ex warp sl56, jpsl 30cm and HSM GPS 6.6

Great to be on the water again.

Hey Geoff, great place- for good sailors. I'm only just starting to enjoy it when it's windy, still not brave enough to go full throttle yet.  Geoff,  this isn't you jumping in this pic?  Cheers mate.

Well done Bill and Anton on the PB's! Aza pipped me today too. Must be that MUF Delta weed.It was very shallow out there and too much drag on the fin for me to keep sailing over the bank.

I must mention the gear failure that Anton had today. Steel pin in the UJ went and Uncle Pete came to the rescue, and brought out a rope and a another base.I tried towing Anton and his rig back in but was too taxing and too much drag for both of us.At least no one was hurt. Bill managed to rescue the board and get Anton Re-rigged.Lucky we were there or it would have been a shorter session and a long drive back to Coomba for them!

Hi Thanks Mark. Yes, we're neck and neck. Really hope you get some wind too soon Mark. You've been missing out a bit lately. If this is what the spring and summer are like then you'll get good day sooner or later.Wink

Gabe , nice to be on the water again , pulled up good this morning , very hard sail yesterday all upwind ,flooding run in tide and then the wind went north west so got very gusty , looks like another week of no wind coming up , so hopefully after that it gets more consistent and we can catch up for a sail

Found a few more pics from Friday. Should be plenty more days like this (but with bigger waves!) coming up!  Hope you guys like them.

Lucky last, Barry, near 70 and still going strong. Gotta love his new sail.
