Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. Another great day at Weyba[15-20kts,couple of gusts to 22] went out at 11.30 on Loft7.0,JP96, Select33 with Glynn. Bit choppier than yest, more easterly, hard to find flatish sections to go for it

Lake Weyba, QLD, AU

Good wind at the lake still a bit gusty but some good bullets comming over the hills.

Made a mistake of telling PC my peak 2 sec speed so he went out just to beat me after I was winning he is getting his competitive streak back.

Tried my new board & fin out today & man they feel good no spinout just pure fun good to gybe also.

Wind was from the east more making it choppy but the board just loved it.

Burrum Heads, QLD, AU

Last minute trip to burrum, good day but a little on/off so some sit and wait for my walrus like winter body.  Surprised with the Nm as heading back in it was too broad after closest washout and wind a little flukey.

Great to sail with the burrum mob & meet some new faces, Best stack i've seen in a long while.

7m Loft Blade, Is97, 33cm S09.

... & then there was today, wind was alot gustier so waited to see how others went before rigged.  Picked same as yesterday, big mistake- burrum always picks holes in your quiver.  Planed across the river, turned around- sink, swim & repeat.  Made it back to rock ledge, finally decided to grab big board as the guys were planing happily out at the end but there wasn't anything where i was.  Left it too late & was a bit ticked off with all the walking and waiting so called it quits.

Cheers, wish i'd been sailing a bit more & was a bit lighter to better use the wind.  Funny after our convo the other day Sean, i'm filling in the gear gaps now, probably would've been a touch quicker (at the moment) on the 69 wide.

Blades just keep getting better with each sail Smile

Riggs, if get good wind in the right direction you can get a good Nm in between gybes.
