bushfire (26346km): Primbee, NSW, AU. WNW to WSW, 10 - 25 knots. Quite patchy. Low water. On the water at 830 with the JP/7m combo and found a building wind. after only 1/2 hr I was hitting the comfort limit, so changed over to the W49/6.2 combo and had a magic hour sailing on smooooth water. Probably was the smoothest I've seen for a long time over the flats. Just not quite enough wind to set better speeds but was still great fun. After that first hour the wind became a bit patchy and swung a bit to the south, so not quite as good conditions. Great to sail with the normal crew - Rick (Bossman) is almost becoming a regular Jp SS 109, SV R3 7m SB W49, SV R4 6.2m, bfbp 22/50

TERRY (45356km): Primbee, NSW, AU Used the RS6 again but could not get the cams to rotate, going to get Tex the sail doctor to fix it. Tabou 96l Rocket RS6 5m Oh my aching back Maybe tomorrow
Mike (3343km): had to work hard for numbers today - but it was worth it, nice little sail after work with Ken and Mark, Ken found a crab pot the hard way - its now out of harms way. iso80 and 6.4 - best ive felt with that set up - needed more oppurtunities for peak speeds but they were few and far between - the nm was good fun

MT (22019km): Primbee, NSW, AU 7.2, custom 56 wide. Hard work getting back upwind for the longer run, the 19cm fin was too small for the 7.2. Will remember this next time. |
