Wallis Lake, NSW, AU.A very gusty NW wind 10 knots gusting 25 knots. Got flattened on the 6m GTX with 102 Falcon, so swapped to the Carbon Art 93 and 5.5m GTX just as the wind eased, but it came back in bursts later. Lots of weed and a bit choppy but good fun for a short time, then a wait and off again. Lots of people out - Rob, Peter, Gabe, Andre, Bill, Ella and Anton and great to see Adam Craven from Sydney and Greg from Port. Go Marauders!

Sailing Club Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

I was frothing for a decent sail today, and knew my options were limited with the wind direction.North to NW 15-28k, choppy , weedy and gusty, but still had a great sail.

Good to catch up with Greg Cacace, and Adam(Ads) from the Roaches up for a session or three.Regulars included Robert, Andre, Peter,Chris, Bill Anton and Ella.

 Ads had me insipred to try going up to the Weed bank and he was half way there by the time I got on water.Got hit with the biggest gusts while 3/4 the way over and thinking a 5.0 was needed.1.5-2m swells rolling down the lake was looking a bit intense.Snagged a few good runs up there but nothing special.Hooked onto a beaut gust on the way back in in quite choppy conditions.The cloud moved in not much later and the wind eased off and now we have storm squalls. Hawk 93 LTD. Finworks 10.5, 5.5 Vapor.

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU  Gusty nor-easter 8-15 knots, bath warm and half a dozen locals and holiday makers out. rigged a 6.6 hoping it would fill in, never really did. good to get wet though. Gunna try Weyba on the south-ester due Friday, hopefully it's a bit flatter.
