DETAIL:  Another IWC Mis adventure!

Fantastic distance sail wirh Kato, Muffin Pete, Rob, Roy, Josh and Joel.

We decided to try to sail to the Riverview Pub at Tarwin Lower.  Nice cruise and explore of the entire Inlet.  We made it as far as the bend in the Tarwin River, where the wind went fickle and the tide started to turn.  We wisely decided to turn around and had a great sail back with 5 km runs!.

Inverloch, VIC, AU Interesting day exploring the inlet with the aforementioned gang. Great company, great scenery. Coul dhave done with some more wind at times, and I think that's enough river-sailing for one lifetime.

SW 20 - 25 - 30 kts Locals complaining it was too rough. eh!

Koncept 5.8 CA 63 Freeride.  Lessacher.

One run out to channel marker.  This feels good.  Lets go back and do the big run out to the other side.  Hmm what could possibly go wrong!!

Big rollers out the back gave me some decent air time.  Back foot slipped out of strap, sliced knee open and strained hamstring.  Limped back in retired for the day.  great fun whilst it lasted.  Board and sail felt soooo good.

Yeah EJ,  it was a bit of fun.

Even though we had all that water around us we still managed to run into each other, knock each other off our boards, fall into quicksand/ mud, scare fisherman and get tangled in the reeds in the Tarwin River....All up- a successful mission!

Yep, there are some pics/ movies to come...we took hydration backpacks and basic snacks...the original goal was to go for a counter meal at the pub- dresed inour wetsuits.  Roy conveniently "forgot" his wallet so it looked like it was going to be my shout!.

We weren't too far off the pub when we turned around, but the bend in the river seemed do-able on the way there but a big challenge on the way back.
