Wild conditions at Queen's Beach. Wave faces nearly vertical. Some fun was had, but took some punishment too.

Wow that was really rough for the lake in a NE, was over finned, board and sail for about the first 1/2 hr of my 1 hr attempt, almost gave it away and came in to change down. Strange direction meant that on starboard tack I was heading directly into large rolling chop board doesnt like this sort of chop :( amazingly I stayed upright for the hour and got my 4th best hour. About 3pm wind swung to the North and then dropped a bit, chop settled down and was much easier to pick a line between the swells in this direction. Had a few runs with Jeffro, Herby, Ray, Ken, Russell and a few others out there.

Incredibly choppy conditions and plenty of wind. As the tide dropped later in the afternoon there was a bit of flatish water. A good crowd sailing with lots of team members and some others too. I seem to be getting quicker speed with the 2014 koncepts they feel light and responsive.
