Carlisle St, Safety Bay, (Pengo's)

On the water at 11.30 but not the best day for distance, the wind came in to a solid 25 gusting 30 for the last 2 hours with metre high swells - a bit of survival sailing at the end.

Amazed that the F2 held together, some serious chop slapping going on.

Happy with the NM as it was the wrong way round - heading north through the Pengos bar to the island north of Pengo's Cool

Went through some kit as the wind kept increasing...

HSM GPS 7.3m, 6m, 5.5m ; Mistral 112, Isonic 86, F2 SX 81 (last 3 hours) ; MXR 28 weedy, Vector DWS 27

Mettams to Sorrento, very light little run on the wave gear, 79l Kombat, Ezzy SE Wave 5.8

Lots of skis going North as well, enough that had to take evasive action a few time. By the time we finished I think the wind had picked up a bit but was OK off the wind with the sea/swell to assist.
