Fwd Loop practise. Gmac and I wanna get them nailed before the end of summer, so we put in 1.5 hours of practise at town green this arvo. Sweet fun on the Skate and Kult - a geat fun combo for flat water.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Well this was a massive day for the Frothie got on the plane properly all be it a bit wild on the control front? And a few cracking Aky thumps but all worth it for the thrill! Massive thanks to Mick Kay for all his ongoing strategy meetings as to how we get 150kgs planeing the bigger fin made a big differance not to mention the 8.5 m Ezzy sale from Mark J all came together nicely. Disappointed the GPS reading of 20.6 knots dropped so much but mick explained in was probably on one of my high speed aky thumps (apparently I need to fall for a bit longer to register a better speed ha ha. Any way great to meet the guys today Paul, Justin, that other fella. Just great to have so many great soles out there to share the Froth Hi 5's to all!

Larger numbers wil just keep coming!! Tried the 21 Delta slalom in the 121 falcon with 7.5 Koncept and was ok but 23 would be better. NE with acouple of 18 knt gusts earlier then fading to 10/15 super flat just wanted an extra few knts. Go Maruders!!!

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - NE 15-18 knots. NP 6.5 V8 + JP 112L + 31cm JP weedie.

First time at Budgewoi in  NE'er. Nice session with a lot of fellow Marauders, Mick, Paul, Matty, Pugs and Frothy. Hi lads. Bruce from LM was there too.

Got a few sweet runs on port in the shallows and thought I may have got some nice numbers. Enjoyed the session a lot even though I was late home. Nice to catch up with everyone.

Cheers Marauders.

Coal Point, NSW, AU

Went out with a 7.4m2. Never really got going properley. Heaps of weed around which made it tricky. Next time I will use the weed fin.

Macleay River, South West Rocks, NSW, AU

Heaps of wind offshore, but not at Gusty River.  Started on the small board and quickly changed up.  Still good fun.  Was already blowing at 7 this morning when I left for work so fingers crossed for this arv.

See Tom?  I can sail in NSW Wink

Budgewoi Lake , NSW , AU First time sailing in Budgewoi Lake. Great place in a Northeaster. JP Slalom ix 66 (102l) + Sailworks NX6.6. Wind NE at 12-17 knots. I was underpowered and would have been much faster with my 7.1, or 8.2 on a bigger board. Also didn't know location and spent too much time skimming weed in the shallows following guys with shorter fins. Got my 30.75 on a relaxing broad reach back to the club and only then realized where I should have been sailing. Sailed with a great bunch of guys, my regular sailing buddy Wayne Bailey and Mick Kay, Matt and Frothie.  Thanks for your company.

Tom, I think there's a sail repairer at Lauriton/Kew.His details are Mid coast sails Ph;65569727. > 2 Neilson Ln. Lorne. Have not used him, but I checked him out and he sounds good and reasonably quick turnaround.

King high tide so all the banks were down, sailed in behind the bird island, but the wind was lighter.

at the end sailed up inside the entrance - beautiful flat water but very short run and shallow - 22 cm fin and worried

Good on ya Adam, how far did you get. Put a hole in my sail today - poor attempts at freestyle are gonna be expensive

Hey Tom. Gmac and I are following Remko's 4 steps as per the forum thread on seabreeze. At the stage of planing along and throwing sail and body around - no worries with that. Tried to get the board to follw me but not enough wind to get a high enough chop hop to entirely clear the fin which is where I ended up coming unstuck out of the straps today - more wind tomorrow - Session 2 baby, bum tuck the tail and round we go.........

Had a big weekend physically as I did 2 sessions of SUP surfing on Saturday (3 hours) and one session on Sunday morning (1 1/2 hours) in some sweet 4'-6' waves at Umina but it certailnly was a bit more crowded that I am used to. Then Sudnay arvo at Budgewoi for 2 hours.
