Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU hi all, sailed with Pete first, thanks mate (he luft along next to me giving me advice on moving harness lines that worked great THANK YOU!) Then Mick, Pugs and Paul came out seemed like they all had fun in the light conditions. Lets hope some stronger winds turn up soon for all to enjoy.

Wayno (16997km):

Gosford, NSW, AU - ENE 10-16 knots gusting to 18 at times. H2 8.2m + JP 122L + JP 36 weedie. Felt like I should be on the 7.5m in a few gusts!

A shifty breeze that was good at times and not so good at others. Planing 80% of the time. Managed a few nice planing gybes in the shallows which felt good. Sailed by myself today as PD was at Peel St. Nice session to end the working week.

Cheers Marauders.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU NE 12-18 knots. JP Slalom ix 68 with JP31 weed fin + Sailworks NX 7.1 Race. Sailed with Mick and Ian. Only good wind was on the north side where it was choppy. Good sailing upwind in the gusts with wind under the board skimming the chop. Never managed to get a good gust on a broad reach in the flatter water heading back south.

Port Sorrell, TAS, AU. First sail at Port Sorell and after having my neck vertebrate lock on me (been 9 days of slowly reducing agony!).  A lovely place for speed, with some lgreat flat water but a bit gusty at times. Got stuck in the middle a couple of times - the worst trying to get back once the wind had died. So far to swim, and thanks to Gabe for helping me swim my rig in and carrying it back. So happy to be getting good speeds! Great to sail with Todd as well - everyone is so helpful and friendly!!!!

Late sail after work! wind gusty and swing all over the place at 12-18knots. I got there as every one was packing up (not a great sign).

I had fun better than watch TV! and I did not fall off once!!!

Mick, Pugs, Dave and paul were out earlier. Bic Vivace raceboard 149L, Loft 8.6m raceblade & JP36 weedy.

Ok Tom, Had a look at your tracks. Sweet. What tide did you sail, how shallow (able to take pointers?).....looks like a nice run in a NE. I am in for sure over Christmas. Mark.J, worth a boat trip from Cabbage Tree Island or the like to save getting shitloads of gear ripped off from Muddies carpark?

Adam, -Sailed prob low tide - 2hrs after... not sure. No kiters yesterday, but they may be an issue.

Quite shallow - no big fins, the entry of the run is a bit choppy and flattens off for the 1st 100m - then there is a mini sand spit into the channel and for the next 180m? it is buttery flat - good as anywhere. then another mini sand spit and it seems to get shallow.

Reckon the run is about 300-350m and then if you take your chances and head up towards the river when a bit of water comes up it could be nearly 500.

Boat not needed, Muddies parking is grand - normally a few kiters about - 4x4 and beach permit would be better - then you can rig up at the run. Finders fee is that if you have a 4x4 you take my kit up haha

Watch out for Oysters

Team members are welcome to Casa De Tom (5mins away) for beers afterwards

Just need a few strong NEers now

Nice pad Tom........def beers afterwards.

Found your mobile in my phone memory from Sandy point.Same number? If not text me your new number....my mobile os 0447755899.  Will call when coming down.

Looks like there could be a nice arvo sesh on Fri........need to see some clients in Forster in the morn, so could call in on the way back. I have the same Subaru Outback as I had at Sandy Point, hoping that will do the sand track - you are welcome riding shotgun. Will see how the forecast holds. Will check tides as well - although dont really care about tides, is a recon mission, will take the skate with the 20cm fin worst case

Congrats to Paul, Great nautical, and Chris on her 5X10 sec. pB's. Great turnout from everyone.

Hey Irishtom, thats some dedication there in the quest for a new spot! Good forecast for Friday and Sat. Hope to be back home and sailing the home spots again next week. Warm water and steady seabreezes.Your digs look excellent. Will have to make an effort to get a wave sail in this summer.May try and round up a few more guys.

Cheers Gabe, looking forward to a wavesail - there are a few banks and gutters out the back so probably not a bad spot, should have went windsuping yesterday, nice 6-8kt easterly but foot too sore.

Adam forecast is looking good for fri/sat. got a new number, will give you a text. Don't know if its OK to take the subaru out there, but parking at muddies is fine.
